Lin deal agreed to in principle

The Sixers and the Houston Rockets have agreed in principle to a trade that would send point guard Jeremy Lin and a first-round pick to Philadelphia, according to a report from Jake Pavorsky of Liberty Ballers.

However, the deal hinges on a few things, according to Pavorsky. Chief among them is that the Rockets sign a max-contract player, which would more than likely be free agent power forward Chris Bosh.

But even that hinges on whether LeBron James leaves the Miami Heat. If James stays with the Heat, so will Bosh. If James takes his talents elsewhere, Bosh will leave along with him with Houston being his landing spot.

Lin is due $14.89 million next season. According to Pavorsky, in order for the Rockets to sign Bosh to a maximum contract, they will have to unload Lin's expiring deal to clear cap space

hes way too small to play center....hes gonna bulk up obviously over the next few years but right now hes even too small to play pf...he just gets bullied to death down low....thats why embiid is the perfect compliment for him

that said his athleticism is off the charts....he looks faster and hoppier this week than he even did at kentucky...to steal a nfl term hes the ultimate quick twitch athlete...the speed in which he gets down the court is crazy too....there was one play last night where he actually made a mistake trying to reach on someone at half court for asteal....the guard blew past him and went to the rim where nn actually blocked it (altho dood was fouled by someone else)....but how he recovered from half court to come back and contest was amazing

his offensive game is a complete mess but we all knew that...he needs to improve his handle....if he could use his quickness when he has the ball he would become a great weapon at the 4 spot as hed be able to go right by just about any big in the league

So let's toss in the first we're getting from Houston when the Lin goes down, Thad, and something else to divert Wiggins to Philly in the inevitable Cleveland Minnesota deal.  Maybe?

Minnesota always talks about winning now.  They'd still be getting Waiters+Bennet+Probably a future 1st from Cleveland.  Philly tosses in Thad + Houston first (if they get it), + future first of their own or one of Saric/MCW?  Minnesota gets Waiters+Bennet+Thad+2 firsts + first or MCW or Saric for Love.  Sixers get Wiggy.  Cleveland gets Love.
