The BiLLLLLLs aren't giving up Byrd for a 2.    And Davis got schooled on Sunday, that's true, but Vince Lombardi would have gotten woodshedded with that garbage secondary.

I'm all in for Rhodes.   And Byrd too if they somehow manage to pry him away from buffalo.

Ha. I'm all for making improvements, but you could clone an in-his-prime Ronnie Lott and put him on this defense and you're still not realistically getting a Super Bowl. It might buy you another win or two.

if this defense was ranked 20th the eagles would run the table. they're so bad the team will win 6 games tops.

Maybe I'm being super naive here, but here's two purely gut feelings:

1) Kerry Rhodes isn't gay
2) The reason Kerry Rhodes has not been signed by anyone is not because he might be gay

We'll see how it plays out. I just think people jump to conclusions a bit too much. The fanbase of like 30 teams think this guy could be their savior. I'm not buying it.

So, literally (LITERALLY) the last thing I ever expected was for this defense to be any good. The secondary is still a total clusterfarg, but that front seven has looked pretty f'ing good for the past few weeks.

Secondary needs help and Williams is as hit or miss of a player as I've ever seen but Fletcher is solid and so is Boykin. Allen has been surprisingly consistent the past month or so. Their biggest need is still a big time pass rusher.

Demeco Ryans should get Pro Bowl consideration

It didn't happen overnight, but they've steadily built up a string of games that makes me not as nauseous.

they are stil 31st in yards and 20th in points. that said you can't deny the improvement.

I don't give a damn about yards.  Keep points below 17 and you win in the NFL.

the yardage is still thru the roof but unlike the last couple years they are causing some turnovers which is helping their pts allowed

six straight games allowing 21 or less pts...only team in the nfl to do that

He really has taken it up a notch.  Wish he was 3 inches taller, but his vertical really helps.  I'll say this, Demeco Ryans is 4th in tackles, and is playing like the guy we hoped he was last year.  Nate Allen is not a liability, he's nearly invisible, but he's not a liability as he has been in the past.

like SD said a good pass rusher would make a world of difference.

they have to address that early in next years draft.
