i feel like weve had this conversation before...and how dont you know what red zone is

the college one is specifically for espn games. plus they for whatever reason, even though they have plenty of lower-tier games they could cut to, keep the rotation to the 2-4 big games on their networks. its stupid.

red zone has all the afternoon games to pick from and is perhaps the best possible way an individual could spend 3 hours of their life. though it is not a good way to watch an eagles game. but when they arent playing, like today, its GRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT

just so i understand it tho you cant watch a game straight thru on it and you cant control whats on the screen right...its basically for fantasy people who just wanna see scores?

They show every kickoff, they show a little bit of the bigger games, then they jump to any games where someone's in the redzone (sometimes double and triple-screen), and they also cover long TDs, turnovers, injuries, etc.  7 hours straight and there's maybe 2 or 3 breaks

if you want to control which game you watch you get the ticket

so red zone is a like the ultimate example of everything thats wrong with society as a whole and represents how awful sports fans are these days

Correct igy, the ESPN college version is a joke.  I watched it yesterday for a bit and it was weak.  Right now with only two games on, is awesome.  Basically every play so far from both games.

Its like a channel that switches between games...same thing you'd do with your remote...they do it for you when something big happens.

If you want to settle in on a game...then you put that channel on.

it doesn't allow you to get the feel of a game...to study it and get a sense of momentum or play calling or why a play might have worked because of something that happened thruout and/or earlier in the game

i can watch sports center if i just wanna see highlites
