what they should have done today is to announce he wasnt coming back next year which would have given him a month and a half long victory lap.....theres no way he shouldnt be managing the last game this season at the bank

I dont have a problem with that because no one would have known it was his last game...which kind of goes to my point of announcing today that this will be his last season....imagine the last home game this year where everyone knows this is it....that would have been incredible....

on top of that finale youd also have a great scene everytime he came out of the dugout for the rest of the season....every mound visit every argued call would be a celebration of sorts
