Cholly knows the jig is up and doesn't care anymore.  He maybe the most entertaining thing about the rest of the season.

Don Ho

Did anyone watch this game tonight?

I thought not.

lol exactly

he has no leg to stand on but at least hes goin down with some comedy chops
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Had it on the computer with the Eagles on the TV.  I did turn it off when it got to 6-1, though.

11 games under .500 isn't perfect?  I disagree.  It's perfect for me since I got a sammich riding on them winning 78 or less.  Keep it up, RAJ.  I'm gonna get fat off this team in October

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Geowhizzer

As soon as the Phils went up 4-0 I knew they were in trouble.

ice grillin you

somehow the werth contract will end up being better than the GRIT and choke deals combined

this seemed like a run of the mill loss for a bad team

average starter wears down...zesty bullpen implodes...the end

why are you dorks losing it?

Utley's deal is fine.  He's still one of the 5 best 2nd basemen in baseball when he's healthy.  Since he's never healthy all the vesting options relate to him staying on the field.

The problem isn't the deal in a vacuum - I think that aspect is fine - it's what it represents and the fact that they probably could've gotten a decent amount for him instead of re-signing him and hoping for .500.

Rome

Utley's deal is farging retarding.  Stop it.
