anyone want to take a stab at defending old ass uncle dumbfarg for using his 2nd worst reliever in the most important part of the game?

he first off had a short bullpen. but then hes using stutes...who can be extended and has been good...for 2 outs and for the bottom of the order. then he brings in the lefty horst and lets him run through the dangerous part of the RIGHT HANDED brewers lineup.

the logical thing to do would have been to use horst in the 8th and papelbon in the 9th. yes it defies nonsense by the book nonsensical baseball logic, but then again, you wouldnt be saving your best reliever for a situation that never arose.

edit: or cliff lee could not have blown a 4-0 lead. first time hes done that, right?

For the love of God why and how is Jeremy corksucking Horst in the major leagues?  I had to head out to a graduation party so I only saw the first out of the ninth.  Thank goodness.  Wasn't even shocked when I checked the score.  Seriously can they not find anything better?  Guy is a farging disaster.

i wont fully excuse phifer but why on gods earth did charlie let him bat for himself when he was at 115 pitches....one of the dumbest things ive seen him do in a while
