QB Eagles

#31
If Bowe isn't a legit #1, that means there are maybe 5 legit #1s in the NFL. He's not Megatron or AJ Green or Julio Jones but he's in that next group of guys. He's put up great stats with Matt Cassel throwing the ball to him (or rather to a place 10 yards away from him) and while being the only passing threat on the field. Put him on the Patriots and he catches for 1400 yds.

Harvin's a unique all-around weapon but he is not a traditional big #1 receiver of the sort igy demands. He is basically a more talented DeSean. Like MVP-level talented.

Either of them would be expensive, probably >$10 million a year.

If I had to pick one, Harvin is better, younger, and Chip Kelly would put up video game stats with that type of player. Can't see the Eagles making that kind of move though. Plus Harvin would cost a high draft pick.

Diomedes

Harvin would also sit out three games a year with a headache.

He would also make DeSean completely redundant.

Receiver is this teams last need. They might not have the best possible players, but they have more than enough weapons to win a superbowl.

Munson

I would have to assume any trade for Harvin would include DeSean, no? It's not like Minny is getting rid of him because he sucks, he just doesn't wanna be there anymore. I'm sure they'd love to get a proven WR back

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

PhillyPhanInDC

Forgot about Canty. He played end in a 3-4 fairly well in Dallas.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SD

Kosher saying they have interest in cb Seam Smith from the Dolphins. Wouldn't be a bad pick up. If they re-signed DRC they'd have two tall corners which is a rarity

I would like Sean Smith from Miami...big physical corner.

Goldson or Byrd would be nice as well.

Howie be listenin'.

SD

If they can pick up Byrd and/or Smith/Talib  that would be a nice coupe.
