i dont see it in this case.....its one thing to hate your owner...its another to start using actual players to make points....thats completely unprofessional and doesnt just affect the owner but the rest of the team the fans ect...

damn, he's going to be inactive not even the backup.  they are all saying this is for his health and to avoid injury.  that has to sit well with the rest of the locker room that they get to play out meaningless games and risk injury while the prized qb gets to sit out

From some of the quotes I've seen in the past, the vets like Moss and Fletcher seem to support Shanny, and understand how he coaches.  Guess they're not a fan of coddling.  This all sounds very familiar.

Much as I dislike the taterskins, it would be funny to see them win out with Cousins looking good in the process (not that that's happening).

That's the big one. Although as I'd said before, given a choice it's hard to decide which I'd rather see - dallas totally implode and lose out, or elimination with a crushing defeat to the Eagles on the last day. That said I never enjoyed a live game more than when the Eagles beat the cowboys in the last game in '08 to eliminate them.

The third to last time I cried after a taterskins game was in 2006.  It was after the Eagles away game.  I sat there at the Linc in the rain with my young daughter.  I tried to get ES to join me for a tailgate, but only seven members were willing to drive the two hours north. Seven.  And so I sat there in the rain in the upper deck of the Linc and watched such a miserable and lackluster performance.  That loss finished any chance of a decent season that year.



I walked back to the truck, in the rain, and was belittled and insulted without mercy all the way to my parking spot.  We drove home in the rain.
