one theory floated around (and this might have been mentioned, and if it was, so what, im not reading through this trainwreck discussion) is that since schurmur and roseman have the same agent, this could all be a ploy to get pat a better job

if its not, it could be a marty-like hire. just like marty became andy's oc for life, pat could too. marty wasnt getting another hc job. neither is pat.

Angelo had a Cleveland sports radio guy on this morning and both said Chip can't be that smart if he's hiring a loser like Shurmur.  I don't get the hate.  Yea he sucked as a head coach (and I was surprised when the Browns made that move because I didn't think he established himself enough to warrant a HC position), but it's gonna be Chip's offense anyway so what's the big deal?
