im gonna put this out there - i hope they take jj at #4...farg injury concerns, the guy is a beast on the field and his size seems to fit the chip mold. he seems like the guy who id most be pissed about in 4 years if they end up not taking him. oh, and id be more than fine w ej in round 2.

in the first two rounds i take whoever is at the top of my board when my pick is up....and i mean that literally....i dont care if its a wide receiver...there is nowhere this team cant upgrade other than perhaps HB...for the next two years just get talent on the roster and worry about everything else later....you arent doing shtein anyway until you get your qb

EJ had a private workout with the Eagles in Tallahassee today.  Lazor was there, possibly Chip and Howie too

If the Eagles are trying to force me to consider suicide they're doing a pretty good job of it by courting Manuel.

DO.

NOT.

WANT.

I want a trade back for an extra 2nd and Warmack. If that doesn't happen I'll be happy with either Floyd or Jordan.

QuoteHey guys, been a busy week so I apologize for the late post. Worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday, and it went great. Coach Lazor came into town Wednesday night and we met up for a casual dinner. I was able to really pick his brain about his coaching history, his expectations from his quarterbacks, his coaching philosophies, etc. I also learned that Coach is a family man, as his kids both called him to say goodnight. Very good man as well as coach, so whoever you all draft as a quarterback (should be me) will definitely enjoy working with Coach Lazor.

The next morning, coach and I met to watch film and go over play installments. He was testing how I learned best and how fast I was able to retain information. I impressed him, just as I did at the combine and the Senior Bowl interviews. One thing that goes unnoticed in all of this, how much football do you really know, and how much of that knowledge is applicable to the NFL? This is an added value I have coming from FSU. WE LEARNED FOOTBALL. Trust me.

From the film room, we headed to the field to work out. I killed it. The ball came out of my hand great. Weather was chilly so it gave a realistic feel of how it'll be in the fall in Philly. Coach gave me a few things to try out and I was able to perform those techniques after he gave his initial instruction.

Overall, coach left with a great impression. The ball may have touched the grass once. I really liked Coach Lazor. I think I will have a lot of success learning and working with him and within the Eagles offensive system!

Cleveland and Cincinnati are up next, so I'm going to prepare for them! Catch you guys later.

There is a 0% chance that was written by a college football player.

i really shouldnt care but the fact that a player is writing his own workout diary leading up to the nfl draft makes me so mad...more at the people who put it out there (kapadia actually reported this crap on his blog) and the people who read it and let it effect their opinion of manuel as a option in the draft but still it makes me furious

when he writes a journal entry saying how he completely shtein the bed in a workout.....that he isnt an expert when it comes to playbooks and tells nfl teams they should be wary of picking him to high in the draft then i wont be mad

until then its literally the dumbest thing ever and really pisses me off
