since the phillies are obviously now big time players in the postseason race i was looking up possibilities with the new playoff format and its just insane what can happen

i think i have this right....you could have a one game playoff for a division...then the loser of that game could play in a one game wild card tiebreaker and then in a one game wild card series....wtf??

in fact the al central is very close to chi and detroit having to have a one game tiebreaker for the division...then the loser of that game would go into a three way two game playoff tiebreaker to determine who plays in the one game wild card

also the lower seeded wild card team will actually host the first two games of the first round series in a 2-3 format

the whole thing is nuts.....a team could play four games in four days in four different cities just in tiebreakers
