tonight's pitching matchup is another example of incompetence by this organization.

as of friday night, they knew that they had a double header on sunday and they needed a 6th starter for today.  however, they did nothing in the minors with either holding back a start or prepping someone to come up and now they are in a position to have a bullpen game against a team they should beat and when they need every win possible.

I could give two shteins about Phillies fans. They're douchey but as long as they show up the team can stay competitive. If I have to deal with the douchebag element the 5 times a year I go to a game it's worth it if the team can stay competitive. Yeah they blow this season but that's not because of fan support.

if all the south jersey fans stayed away and only the diehards went there would be 20k there most nights. then they wouldnt have as much money and the tv ratings wouldnt be so good. so then they wouldnt have an 180 million dollar payroll.
