I love the way Pierre plays. He's the new (despite being 34) GRIT.

And that is why I hated him as a Marlin - because he did the little things well and always hurt the Phils.

its great when he gets on base every time hes up but even with a .360 obp a singles hitter who is a disaster on defense isnt really someone you should play, especially at corner outfield

some times itll work out where hell lead off innings but you cant always get that. hes a pretty valuable bench guy who you can plug into a certain spot 1-2 a week and figure, alright, hes got a 36% of getting on base here.

back in the day when he had a .400+ obp, could steal 60 bases and was decent to average in cf, he was a great player. now hes none of those things.
