papelfunhole is unbeatable

back to 500 and back to the world series!
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

some people are speculating that with Dom Brown playing center last night in AAA and charlie's comments the other day that the philllies might be considering putting Utley in LF when he comes back and keeping Galvis at 2b.

not sure how i feel about that.  i don't know if playing on grass instead of dirt would help Utley's knees or not and i'm not sure making him run a lot farther would be good for him but farging Galvis is great a 2b and with him coming around offensively i'm not sure you can afford to sit him.

i thought maybe put utley at 1b because he sounds closer than Howard but LF might be a better long term solution, idk.

Not sure I like that either. He'd certainly use his knee more running for fly balls.

I'd keep Galvis up and rotate him between 3B-2B-SS to give those guys breaks. On days when Polanco and Jimmy play you put Utley at 1B and let Choke sit.

SunMo

someone on another board made a good point that even though he'll have to cover more ground on plays out there it's still better than all the plays a 2b makes that aren't hit to him.  covering steals, turning dp, backing up 1st or 2nd, rotating on bunts, stuff like that

nothing can help GRIT's knees....not even his massive GRIT...its a degenerative disease...he is what he is
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

yup

though i agree one way or another galvis needs to stick. as long as he keeps hitting in the .260 or .270 range, with his defense, you cant take him out of the lineup.

Maybe the problem is that his knees are too gritty.

Rome

Can we agree never to post the word GRIT again?

Thanks.

That's like asking Christians to stop saying Jesus.

TMac is such a funhole. Nice trying to say that Lee and Victorino weren't talking shtein to each other when they clearly were.

Don Ho

Philbert looks like he's about to have cardiac arrest after running the base paths.
