thousands of people showing up to chuck brown's viewing, party breaking out in the streets, pretty cool.

No shtein.  Whoever was there won't forget it.

In other dead-people-in-music news:

RIP Doc Watson.

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists." - Yosemite Park Ranger

Susquehanna Birder

Doc's been hanging in for a while. It's sad to see him gone, but I suppose it's better than watching him linger.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I don't know if he ever posted on the EMB but I remember him from up at camp. Think they did a story on him on pe.com a few years ago.

DH

I dont think he was a poster, but I have no reason to think that aside from the fact that he didn't look like a computer guy...I met/saw him a bunch of times at camp - nice enough guy, but I think he may have been a bit off; either that or just over-the-top way too nice to everyone.

And, another lifetime Eagles fan goes without ever seeing a Super Bowl win.

The same will be said about us one day.

Actually it will be worse for us. If he died at 62 and was a lifelong fan that means he was 10 when the Eagles beat Vince Lombardi's Packers in 1960.

QuoteHe never married and had no immediate survivors.

So the Eagles were basically the only thing he had.  Sad

If he never married he had a lot more than you think

rjs246

There's all kinds of retardedness in the last few posts here. A single, 62 year old man died. This is not interesting.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.
