they dont deserve any calls when they give up 40 pts to ricky rubio and jj barrera....how is it that they still dont know how to defend barrera....

if youve noticed they do fairly well against straight up first step fast guys like derrick rose.....but get killed by the stop and go quickness guys like tony parker andre miller barrera ect....

i cant even imagine what linsanity is going to do to them
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

rubio was in a massive shooting slump too, but once again the sixers always find a way to give up a career best stat to the opposing teams player--shtein never fails.

career (although 1st year) high in points for rubio, which is sad when the sixers are top 5 in defense.

i only saw the first half last night but that little spaniard has some crazy court vision.

reese125

no doubt--fun to watch. true pg.

i even have him on my fantasy squad which makes me watch all the wolves game even more.

some numbers....decide for yourself if they matter or not...

the 20 teams the sixers have beaten are currently 251-384 - .395

the 14 teams they have lost to 226-163 - .581

6-8 against teams that are currently over .500

14-4 against teams that are currently under .500

Just a bunch of numbers.

We know the deal with this team and what they need to be big time.

phattymatty

their record is worse against good teams than bad teams.

i did some further research in my brain and figured out that this happens to all teams in all sports. hence some records are good and some are bad.

not exactly.....really bad teams are bad against all teams and really good teams are good against all teams

its the teams you are not sure of where the splits mean something...sixers are just that kind of team...for example they are the only first place team that isnt over 500 vs teams that are over 500...

also only two teams have played more games against sub 500 teams

and their splits are actually rather favorable as you would have expected their record against good teams to be much lower and their record against bad teams to be around 600+ as their schedule was incredible easy early

6-8 against teams over .500 is not terrible for them

their problem is still close games...i dont believe they have won a game decided by 3 or less this year...while they are good front runners having the third most wins in the nba in games decided by 10 or more....of course schedule has something to do with this as well

Rome

They're beating teams they should and occasionally losing to teams they shouldnt.

Not exactly man bites dog type revelations here.

Would you trade Iggy for Gasol?

I would

Would you trade Iggy for Gasol?

I would

that would invoke the 25% rule and couldnt be done

but if you are saying hypothetically sure id do it....can you imagine upgrading from cream puff to gasol

in the real world youd have to include lou/thad or someone else that would make it work....altho i dont think thad can be traded until after the season since he just signed a deal

In a blink of an eye I bang that trade out for Gasol.

I'm still trying to figure out why Jrue has regressed so far this year.

Sgt PSN

I heard he has a jrinking problem.

Hawk

#718
He's the best defensive pg according to synergy metrics.

this grizzlies color guy is the worst human being on the face of the earth
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
