Awful loss...seven goddamn points in the 4th

Whats the deal with Turner and why did he turn into such a funhole?

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

he was always a little bitch

even when he first started and was droppin 20 a game he was getting t'ed up once per game for crying to the refs. and it wasnt the sheed type of bitching where its done like a street tough man from philly who aint takin shtein. its done from a little funhole who didnt get his way and is going to cry about it

on top of that hes farging terrible. all that you needed to know about him is it took him a season and a half to pass jodie meeks in the starting lineup.

I'm fine with this.  He's no where near skilled enough to transform a lottery team into a playoff contender.  I like his game on defense but he doesn't really bring much offense to the table.  Not to mention that he doesn't seem to have much of an NBA body right now either.  Obviously that would change over time since he's so young but I don't see him making any big waves his first year....possibly 2 or 3 years....into the league.

You have got to be kidding me?  20 farging points in the second half?  Collins blaming it on fatigue due to the compressed schedule.  They suck Doug.

Quotethe Sixers put up the fewest points they have ever scored in the fourth quarter of a basketball game since the advent of the 24-second clock back in 1954-55 against a habitual lottery team.

Larry Brown disagrees he believes the team that gets him will be a 50 win team his first season.

That is a little extreme but he is a game changer, look at the title game he scored 6 points ame was clearly the best and most important player on the floor.

Nah didn't know anything about the book...he does look a bit off.

Should have taken Cousins.

SD

Cousins would have been a good pick and would actually fill a need...what they REALLY should have done was trade the pick. There were a ton of teams that were interested in him but the Sixers wanted to stand their ground. The good news is he's still young and has value. They have to do something drastic in the offseason, no idea what that something is but they need to shake the team up. The good news is Brand/Nocioni/Hawes have expiring contracts which gives them a little bit of flexibility. Maybe they trade cap space and Iggy for someone. Grasping at straws here but they're in a bad predicament where they're not going to be able to add a superstar via free agency and they're not bad enough [and the draft is not good enough] to get a potential star during the draft. Patience might actually be the best option.

And I'm fine with Dougie staying for the long term. There's no better option out there and the team showed actual signs of life and being a contender despite playing with so so talent.

I love his defense and the way he hits the boards. I also like the fact that he had a bad shooting performance and was still able to be that impactful. But the kid needs a lot of work on offense and he needs to bulk up a bit. When he's 21 or 22 and has put a good 15 lbs of muscle on him, he very well could dominate in the NBA. But I don't see him doing much for those first few years in the league.  Time will tell.

larry brown will be the sixers coach to start next season

just trust me. when am i ever wrong.
