im not defending him....i have no idea if he will be successful in the pros...but he will change/tweak his system when he comes to the nfl...it wont/cant be what oregon runs and he knows this....it will be a spread offense more along the lines of green bay where the pocket is moved or imagine new england with a qb that throws from outside the pocket and extends plays

its not going to be oregon where the qb runs a lot as a first option

he won a ton of games and had a bunch of good years...mostly against a terrible nfc and even worse nfc east

in game decision making was never good. refused to get good offensive players in early 2000s when they had a great line, great d and non mental midget qb. didnt do it.

bottom line are rings and he didnt get one. thats his legacy.
