it actually was a pretty damn good game...especially once the flyers got within one...the last 15 minutes of thrird was exciting as hell as the flyers were all over the florida net

i didnt see what easy saw as far as a letdown at all...they had almost 40 shots and basically dominated the whole game...they just couldnt finish...especially on the pp

flyer just assigned a kid they drafted last year to adirondack for the remainder of the season....hes being groomed as a future enforcer...kicko is 6-3 225 at age 18...i looked up a few of his fights and hes pretty damn impressive....got a jackhammer right hand and can switch if need be

should be fun following him over the next few years

94 is what richards - carter - leino and zherdev tallied last year

63 so far...they are not going to get anywhere close to 94...however this was made up for by the unexpected contributions of read and cooter...if you add them in then its 95

any opinions on Kubina/Grossman?  I haven't been able to watch many games recently but people have been saying Grossman has done well.  Haven't heard much about Kubina.

grossman has been off the charts....id rather have him right now than a healthy pronger....i cant imagine any other defenseman in the nhl is playing better than him right now

laviolette is master....i thought it was kinda crazy to break up carle and coburn as they have been very good for a couple years now but he knew what he was doing and paired grossman with coburn

kubina has been solid as a rock

Kubina has added a veteran presence and stability. Grossman is a stud defensively. 2 great trades in which they gave up little. I'd find a way to keep both and let Carle walk at seasons end.

kubina is 35....he can go to the scrap heap next year...

carle and grossman are both 27...id keep both but if you wanna let carle walk...and id be fine with that...as long as you dont do it in a  kubina or carle situation...it should be a carle or another same age or younger player situation

Carle is going to sucker someone into giving him a 5 year $25 million deal which he's not even close to being worth. Kubina I wouldn't mind keeping for another season, I'm not saying sign him long term but he's worth having around for another season.

id definitely take kubina back on the cheap im saying if its even a question btwn him and carle i keep carle...carle is a good second pairing defensemen and 4-5 mill a year for him in his prime years is market value for a guy like that if you look around the league
