Three hundred and fifty farging dollars to sit out in the freezing cold to watch a hockey game a few hundred feet away?

Ahahaha.

MDS

the flyer season ticket fan base is exclusively rich, white and homerstatic (see SB, minus the rich). they will pay these prices with a smile and in fact would pay double should ed snider request.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I never understood the appeal of the Winter Classic. It's a hockey game outdoors...big farging deal. Those prices are absolutely absurd.

As a person who doesn't like hockey, I actually think the Winter Classic is pretty cool and would like to go check it out one day.

But yeah....not at those prices.  Sheesh.

SD

I'd check it out if I had a free ticket but I can't see spending money to freeze my ass off to not even really see the game. Even the best seat in the house is probably worse than the worst seat at WFC.

as long as you have some sort of elevation the seats will be no different than for a baseball game....and every seat for phillies games are good even nosebleeds

but even if you didnt watch one second of the game its gonna be worth being there just to witness the shtein talking btwn ranger and flyer fans....i know a couple people who went to boston and said it was incredible...like an sec football game atmosphere

id easily pay 350 for the best seat but i know i wont find someone to go with me to do the same...so ill probably just get the cheaper seats....i dont think 79 - 200 bucks for the old timers game the winter classic and an outdoor phantoms game is that bad at all...in fact i was shocked when i saw there were tickets for under a hundy

Q: There have been some rumors going around in Philly that you've been invited to play in the Winter Classic Alumni game. Is there any truth to that?

Eric Lindros: I talked with [Flyers GM] Paul Holmgren about a month or five weeks back and we chatted about it. That'd be great if I could see Mikael Renberg again, and Johnny LeClair. I haven't seen Johnny in a couple of years. That would be a lot of fun. Also possibly we could set up something along the lines where we could do something for CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia), maybe have a lunch or do something along those lines. We could bring in hockey fans and chat a little bit about what we're up to and sign a bunch of stuff.

Q: So have you made a decision to definitely come down for that or is it still up in the air at this point?

Eric Lindros: I haven't talked to Paul since we initially spoke a couple of times but it sounds like a great time.

Rumor had it a few years ago that Lindros ballooned up nicely.
