piece of shtein team decides to play dirty after they've been beaten. 

just so im clear on this....the flyers cheap shot the pens concussion riddled superstar and then the pens land a great legal hit on a flyer but they are the dirty ones?

For real. That hit on Briere was textbook clean open ice hit.

Laviolette is playing this right, as I think he needs to show some fire to get the team amped for an extremely tough opening series against the Pens, but make no mistake, it's all for show. That was a clean hit and everyone on the planet with a brain and two eyes knows it.

if anything he should be mad at himself...if you see bylsma put out his fourth line at that point in the game then briere cannot and should not be out there...he should have immediately come to the bench and been replaced by rinaldo

He wasn't upset so much with the hit but the fact that Bylsma sent his goon squad out on the ice for the final minute after they had sat the majority of the 3rd. The only reason you send your goon squad onto the ice in a game you're down is to cause some havoc. Bylsma pretty much confirmed that's why sent them out there on his post game presser and that's the main reason Lavy was so pissed.

Regardless, Lavy is absolutely playing this right and I love the farging drama. Tell me your juices aren't flowing after that game.

The hit on Briere was clean but excessive (you wouldn't have seen anyone from their top 3 lines do that down 3 with 1 minute left), and I posted my comment after Asham started his shtein with Rinaldo

This series is going to come down to goaltending. Fleury scares me because he can raise his game to the next level, Bryz scares the shtein out of me because he's mental and was hideous come playoff time last year.

Crosby had also hit Schenn from behind.  The cross-check was a reaction more than anything else, and to me it seemed that Crosby grossly exaggerated the hit to get a penalty.
