nfl network was breaking shtein down on tape last night with this defense and man did it look bad. not that we needed tape to see it, but it means a hell of a lot more when you do see it on film.

watching guys getting taken out of plays was embarrassing to watch. they focused on the LB's and safties and you can plainly see the footwork and reaction time on these guys is just horrendous. then when you add the tackling aspect too, forget it. it has nothing to do with putting guys in a "better position", this is all talent.

all that said they will still win this game in buffalo--because as bad as I think the eagles d is--I still think they are better than buffalo.

I couldn't have watched that for more than a couple seconds before vomiting.

And Castillo - come on man. You can be hot in December, sure. But if you enter the month four games under farging .500 it doesn't matter if you win out.

ice grillin you

thing is even if they happen to be hot in december it will be because the offense is killin people and has fixed their red zone issues....it wont ever be because of juanys unit
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

hate AR as much as you'd like, but anyone who "roots" for their team to lose (especially this early in the season) is an idiot - regardless of reason.

Agreed.  However, I find this team very hard to actually root for.

DH

thats fine, as do I, but thats 100% a different story. if youre really going to root against your own team, you may as well put on a romo jersey and become a farging cowboys fan.

Yep.  Right now, I watch the games.....probably because I'm programmed to, but I don't think I could be any more disinterested in them than I am right now.  I basically just watch the offense because they are/can be exciting and when the defense takes the field, I look at all the cleaning supplies under my kitchen sink and wonder which one would taste the best.

Honestly, I'd prefer razor blades scrapped repeatedly across my eyeballs over watching a breakdown of this defense.  He'll, I'd rather watch Choke bat.

This D can't make a textbook tackle, much less cover anyone or be in the right place. The most basic thing about playing defense is tackling and this D is about the worst I've ever seen at doing it. What the farg good is it to "be in a better position" if you can't tackle when you get there?

PoopyfaceMcGee

Well, if they are in a better position on passing plays, they may not have to do that whole tackling thing. Could be of some help fore shore.

PhillyPhreak54

Hey at least we have the Eagles to look forward to!

MDS

man i kind of hope they lose on sunday

this negadelphia thing is fun
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I'd jack it with broken glass before I'd do that.
