The game that began my fandom - when I really understood enough to sit down and watch. I was 8.

Also the anniversary of losing to the Rams

8?  Jesus J, I was _8.

That Rams game was horrible.  Randall followed that up with another stellar performance a year later against the Racists.  Of course Buddy had nothing to do with going 0-3 in the playoffs.

I was 18.  I thought they had a chance that year.

Save them for next season. We'll need an antidote for what we'll be subjected to then.

No way next season is worse than this past one. Even the 3-13 season had some type of dignity to it. This shtein was just rapey, semen, on bloody vomit, mixed with stool and piss, on rye.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Ugh...rye?
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

Was looking for something from 1995/1996 and did a search to see if the blacked-out "For Who For What" game was ever posted to YouTube. Other than the Watters clip all over the news that day, I never saw anything else from this game (and it's an awful game that was only seen in the Tampa/Orlando area, so most of it is worth skipping). 1:50 of the last clip is the infamous moment. Had no idea Mike Breen was the PBP guy that day.

I saw that game (being in the Tampa market).  Wish I hadn't.  That was in the days before Sunday Ticket (at least for me) and internet accessibility, so I was rather excited to be able to see the Eagles.  Of course...

And who was it that first said history repeats itself?

Watters was still one of my favorite birds of all time.

This will cheer you up - thank god it's not one of bleacher reports slideshows
