If OSU offered him 7/40, what would PSU have to give him? I'd say 10/60 with an escape clause if the program faces NCAA sanctions.

i was kidding....theres not a chance he would ever go to penn state....in fact without the scandal theres probably a 3% chance hed go there

multiple natty championship coaches who can go anywhere they want dont go to penn state....maybe in the 80's...not ever again tho

I am surprised he would go there, for a guy who quit because of "stress" and family you would think that he would want to go to a program not involved in scandal.  He doesn't even know what kind of sanctions are awaiting OSU. 

I think PSU may have had a slight chance before the scandal.  Everybody keeps saying Golden, but I would think they would want someone with no PSU ties.

Sumlin is a good coach. One of my friends knew him when he was at A&M and said he is a stand up guy and a great coach. He said the word on the street as to why he couldn't get a better HC job down here was because he is married to a white chick and these good ol' southern boys frown upon such things. Sad but true.

Yeah....they aren't going to announce it until after the weekend.  No sense in all the extra buzz being a distraction while they prep for Michigan. 

Also agree with you on Meyer to PSU even without the scandal.  Head to Head with no scandals or anything, OSU is still the better job.
