Tomorrow night's match up is meh - I hope Clemson thumps WVA.

I am looking forward to the Cotton Bowl on Friday though - the Compass and GoDaddy suck - and then the big boy next Monday night.

An open letter to dreamers and whiners everywhere:

Dear Overly Passionate College Football Fans -

Stop complaining about college bowl games. Right now. Stop posting about it on Facebook. Stop emailing your friends. Just stop. Until everyone stops making decisions based on money, the bowl games aren't going anywhere. Of course the system isn't fair. It isn't designed to be fair. It's designed to make money. Gobs and gobs of money. So shut up.

And Penn Staters, you need to realize that if a playoff were in place and the Lions played in it they would be exposed as the third or fourth tier program that they are. They would be run off the field. Happy Valley would be flooded with boozy tears. The only reason they get any votes in any poll ever is because sports journalists are lazy and stupid and the college coaching community spends all of their time actually coaching. Anyone who has seen a Penn State game over the past five years knows that every vote they get to be in the top 25 is a gift from above. Imagine a school like UVA beating Temple by 2 points and still getting votes. Never happen. Voting and the BCS are the greatest thing that ever happened to programs that are past their prime. So stop farging whining.
