Im as excited for a sixers season as i have been in a loooooooooooooooooooong time.

99% of it is eagles resentment and phillies anger, but still. i cant wait for this shtein to start.

Yep.  3 months ago I could have given a rats ass if they settled or not.  Phillies performance in the NLDS coupled with the disaster at the Linc, let's do this.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

not giving a rats ass is a lot different from being more exicted than usual

the lil guy is a fraud...all hes done the last two years is rip me and the sixers...but don could care less if they ever played another game

you and them deserved to get ripped.

they were terrible and you were sucking them off like a suburban 16 year old girl seeing black cock for the first time.

i guess you can take solace in the fact that you continued religiously following them through 30 win seasons while everyone else sort of stopped. congrats, youre the bestest fan ever.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

yea, not sitting through every game of the eddie jordan era and the end of the mo cheeks years = im a frontrunner/fraud

if thats the case there are A LOT of non-fan fans out there. and im sure you were watching every second of the 1999 phillies and 1998 eagles. ok.

Rome

Reading the last page of you two fondling each other is more entertaining than watching the Sixers.

So congrats on that.

I'll put these in two separate posts, would anyone take a chance on Oden? I know the injury concerns but if they can get the knee situation worked out he could be huge for them. Personally I'd take the chance, you have everything to gain and nothing but cap space to lose at this point:

Yes - I'd love to see them take a shot on him.

Also, guy with legit sources on Realgm says the following:

Quotethey are exploring trades of iguodala for a center or a SG. If they get a center, they want to sign tayshaun prince for the midlevel. If they get a SG, they want Kwame Brown.

They want meeks to be the backup SG and turner to start....envisioning instant offense off the bench of Lou,meeks and Young(and probably Hawes). If they acquire a SG, they have no problem with Turner starting at SF.

Speights will be gone shortly after transactions are allowed. The return is not expected to be much. They are comfortable with Allen,Vucevic,Brackins as the backup big men other than Hawes. Nocioni will either be amnesty'd or bought out. He doesnt want to be here.

Their first target at SG is kevin martin, Monta is 2nd, but front office folks question whether he fits here.. Wesley Matthews is of interest to them but that one would probably take a three teamer to do. They also like Batum but Portland doesnt want to move him. They envision Martin as the perfect fit here but no idea if the Rockets are open to moving him.

Quotethey arent going to dump Andre tho. If they dont get what they want...they wont move him right now. They would just sign a center like Kwame and get rid of Nocioni and Speights. But they are at least trying to move Andre now. They realize that Turner wont take the next step in his career until Andre is gone.

They arent trading Lou

If Hawes gets any multi year offer in restricted free agency, they will let him walk. If he doesnt get an offer, he will be here for a year at $4 MM and then walk.

Not sure I like Turner at the 3. I don't really see him flourishing in this league as anything other than a PG and I'd rather Jeru be the guy here than ET. Wouldn't mind exploring trade options to be honest. Anything they get for Iguodala I'm fine with.

PhillyPhreak54

Daryl Morey said that he is "open to any trade scenarios" this past week.

I would love to see Kevin Martin on this team. He can flat out shoot the ball.

Nocioni is a goddamn bum

I hope this Kwame Brown thing doesnt happen...do not want

MDS

kwame brown? greg oden?

if these are their center options then they might as well start the lockout again

Brown I agree with, but what would be wrong with taking a chance on Oden? He's still only 23 and if they can fix his knee he'd be a stud in this league. At worst you're only losing cap space.

MDS

hes never been healthy in his life and its not going to start now

if they can fix his knee...uh they cant.
