I was on the shteinter but thought I heard the announcers saying Burnett's stuff is just as good as Verlanders. Am I mistaken?

Burnett's always been a great "stuff" pitcher.

pretty much.  TBS is all about quality insight.

i think my favorite from brenly/stockton tonight was "Hamels isn't asked to bunt much because of the Phillies offense".  Take as long as you want to try to decode that one.

They also said Victor Martinez was hitting .380 after Cabrera was walked, so he "usually cones through" in that situation.

game 5 in the bronx

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

yep, kind of figured arizona was going to roll over and die tonight vs Marcum.  Time to see if they can make it a series.

The White Sox hired Robin Ventura to be their manager.  He has never been a manager on any level.  Or a coach - except as a volunteer assistant at the high school level.
