I fell asleep and missed everything.

Incredible.  Amazing.  What else can you say?  Six months, 162 games and in two games it came down to two outs and two strikes and both teams blew it.

Baseball, folks.  So great a game not even a four-eyed MA douchebag like Bud Selig can ruin it.

One of the best farg-yous had to be given by the Orioles. I was watching the replay last night about 1:45pm local time....and in the 9th inning, I think after the first out in the bottom of the 9th, one of the boston fans is wearing a green shirt and looking like he's talking shtein to the two oriole fans behind him.

I wish I could have seen the expression on his face and the dialogue exchanged after the comeback. I would have paid top dollar to see that. farg Boston.

Now.....let's hope Philly flames out...and that would top off another successful baseball season. Go Ray, Go Rangers, farg everyone else.

Kemp had an amazing year, but I'm in the camp that believes that an MVP shouldn't come from a non-playoff team (or at least that team should be a contender).

When it comes to the Cy Young award though, my opinion is almost the exact opposite.  If you put up the numbers that Kershaw did on a team as bad as LA was this year, you should absolutely win the award even if someone else with comparable numbers did so for a winning club.
