logical candidate to get brought up on the trade market, and kenny williams has been known to make some crazy moves over the years (hello alex rios).

obviously too early to start thinking about but someone to keep an eye on.

Ibanez is going to have to be replaced.  The only problem with acquiring Quinten is the relative absence of prospects in the system.  I mean, they have them but most are in the lower minors and are going to be counted on in a few years when the Rollins/Utley/Howard core starts its descent (if it hasn't already).

Bottom line is they better hit on some prospects big time because they won't be able to plug & play with the monstrous payroll outlays they're gonna have.

im no minor league expert but im pretty sure they have some decent guys, outside of people like hof brown and brother singleton who you wouldnt expect them to deal

and yes quentin is tearing it up right now but hes coming off years where he hit .236 and .243. so were not talking about babe ruth here. but, in those two seasons he did hit 20+ homers and had a .320+ obp. so even though he could buy a hit he still walked enough and obviously made his hits count.

chisox are 8-12 and in a crappy division where 85 wins might do it. so well see.

Two of them bitch during the game when the team is playing like shtein. The other has been proclaiming them the worst team ever in the league since like 2006.

This just in - The CONCRETEBOARD is a place for fans to express their opinions.  When they're playing like shtein we're going let the criticism fly. 

Todd, I'm old enough to remember the real zesty days.  I mean really zesty.  A little sounding off never hurt anyone.  What I would have given for a place like this back then.  Not a whole lot of Philly fans out this way so I for one really enjoy everyone on this board.
