LOL at how gassed Polly was there.

Watching Howard run around the bases makes me feel gassed.  He looks like Bruce Willis walking on glass with bare feet in Die Hard.

What is that, 8, 9 left on base by Wilson?

Yeah, something like that. Doc coming out after 8. Not dominant but good enough. Better get him out now though because I heard he sucks in the 9th.

Ummm... 9th inning and Milwaukee is threatening.  Also... Blanton is warming up.  :paranoid

Time for ODB to sit for about 3-4 games. He's admitted he is tired and it looks it. No need to kill him now.

Nice pimp walk by CHOJE when he launched in the first.

Former Phil Nick Punto knocks in the winning run to beat the Braves in the 10th after Kimbrel blows the save (to Pujols) in the 9th.

Someone better tell the Braves that the Cardinals be creepin'.

Amazing night, tailgated from 4-630. Then went in, awesome stadium and fans. Got 3 baseballs and an autograph from Lidge. Brewer fans loved the attitude of my kids. Everytime the Phils dd something goos, all we heard was how the Pack won the superbowl. My two oldest grew tired of that real quick.

i was working but saw howard hit the 3 run homer and barely paid attention for the rest of the night

this shtein is literally too easy and i honestly am bored by all of this. the world series is barely even looking like a challenge. boston has no starting pitching outside of lester, the yanks outside of fatso. then who's left? detroit, anaheim, texas. please.

im phil martelli after his last win over temple (something like 15 years ago) YAWNIN
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QuoteThe Philles' run differential in 50 games since the All-Star break: 264 to 164. Outscoring their opponents by exactly two runs per game.

But will it matter now that basticho's aura is damaged?

Some of the predictions made in this thread are really comical.

Jonnycakes got lambasted for predicting 101 wins and that looks like a pretty significant understatement at this point.

This team has been better than advertised which, considering the hype that surrounded them when they signed Lee, is fairly incredible.

my big predictions of the year

roy oswalts record will not be over .500
they wont win the division
the nationals will finish within 10 games of them

igy might get the Oswalt prediction right, so lets give him credit. His other predictions...not even close.
