Preseason schedule:

vs Patriots (8/8-11)
vs Panthers (8/15-19)
@ Jaguars (8/22-25)
@ Jets (8/29-30)

Might get tickets for a dollar apiece.

Might.

pimp's game-winning punt return was voted the #1 play of all time on NFL.com's Bracketology thing

The Eagles FB page was asking for people to vote for that.  I left them an ugly comment telling them to focus on winning championships rather than meaningless "awards" for 3 year old regular season plays.  I'm sure my words are still ringing in Lurie's earhole.

Did you shake your fist and yell "get off my lawn" too?

Any linebacker that Joey B wasn't interested in keeping has already peeked my interest.

My boy @BGideon21 said they probably traded me for some of Chip Kelly's old Oregon gear! Smh

He blew out his knee in the second preseason game last year and missed the season.  6th round pick out of Texas last year, and his brother Sam is on the Cardinals

It's not possible for a tweet to be awesome, but if it were possible, that tweet would then be awesome.

sounds promising...

QuoteKnock-kneed, pigeon-toed and bad-bodied. Not strong at the point. Gives ground to beat blocks. Foot speed is just adequate — gets outrun to the perimeter. Tightly wound with leggy, stiff movement skills (can be exposed in space). Average lateral agility. Tends to clutch and grab in coverage. Dull striker. Limited finishing strength. Does not project as a special-teams standout.

Stiff, long-limbed, bad-bodied, three-position backup lacking starter-caliber traits in any area. Could be best playing on the strong side in the pros.

That might be the worst pre-draft evaluation I've ever read (not that I read a lot of them to begin with).  Please tell me those are from Banner's notebook.

The fact that they received anything at all in return should be considered miraculous. Who cares if this guy can even walk/breath? Lewis was never going to get the Eagles anything more than pocket lint and stained socks.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Summary:
Emmanuel Acho does everything well but nothing great.  He is effective in coverage, attacking the line of scrimmage on run plays, and has the ability to be an effective pass rusher.   He has been vital to Texas defense for 3 years now.  In the pros he will be effective in either the 3-4 or 4-3 defense.  As long as you are not expecting a 10 sack a season guy he is more suited in the 3-4.  He brings to the table similar traits as Jarrett Johnson so partner him up with a pass rusher and he will complement them well.  Teams such as the Jets, Titans, Bengals, Raiders, Cowboys, Eagles, and Packers could use him in the 3rd-4th round.
