Iirc, the Eagles are at least $2-3 under the cap for next year and cutting Vick, Demetress Bell (remember him?), and Nnamdi will free up about another $30 million. Haven't looked at the free agent market yet.

They don't even need a great QB in this offense...just a semi accurate one. If they can protect an accurate QB with a strong arm, use the running game more often, and not make dumb predictable play calls, the offense will be okay. It's the defense that'll hold them back from a playoff spot. Hopefully a different scheme can improve them, but the secondary needs someone new three or four new guys.
