Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I'm sure Howie inquired but this just wreaks of schefter trying to grab a headline before a huge game tonight. Not even sure Howie could even make his contract with cap wise:

QuoteOne team that made a strong play this summer to try to trade for All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons was none other than the Philadelphia Eagles, per league sources.

The Eagles called the Cowboys to see if they could acquire Parsons and bring him back to Pennsylvania. But the Cowboys had no interest in trading Parsons in the division, especially to the defending Super-Bowl champion Eagles, whom they open with tonight.

Failing to check would have amounted to GM malpractice.  Of course he asked.

Glazer says the Eagles made the biggest offer for Parsons

Two 1's, a 3 and a 5 "amongst other things"

Those guys are well sourced so I'll assume this is legit and I would love to have parsons but that's a haul plus the cap space fitting his contract in would have been a nightmare. Would rather have had Garrett. Doesn't seem very Howieish of a move

Parsons is a generational talent.  Adding him to that defense would have been a master stroke.  No way was that dementia-riddled racist farghead trading him to Philly anyway, but glad he didn't come to the Birds?  Nope.  Gotta completely disagree here.

At that kind of money? He's not strong against the run and I don't like his injury history.

Plus giving up that much?

We are in complete disagreement yet we all don't know ball. Sounds right.

Don Ho

QuoteIt wasn't a perfect debut as the Eagles' full-time right guard. Steen did give up a couple pressures and a sack. But he also received the highest blocking grade among the five Eagles' starting offensive linemen, according to ProFootballFocus. Even if you allow that PFF's grading scale is inherently flawed, it at least offers a baseline. And Steen played well.

This is positive.

Goedert may be out?  Shocking the guy couldn't get a big fat contract done.
