we all cope with bad things differently but it just isnt realistic to be positive about this

sure they can beat the raiders and giants, who both suck. but the playoffs have good teams and real teams. nick foles is a backup. doug pederson is an idiot. this isnt going to end well.

im not giving up and stopping from watching/going but my expectations are at 0.

I'd probably feel better about things if the defense hadn't looked so suspect the last 2 weeks.  Only way this team can even hope to compete in January is if the defense balls out. Offense will struggle to put up more than 20...and that's very optimistic.

I'm hoping that collectively, every player on the team reaches inside themselves and pulls out 10% more effort/talent and collectively, this is our "Kurt Warner" moment...but shtein just doesn't work out like that. Just hoping for a miracle.

Not to mention the opponent QB in the first game is highly likely to be one of Brees, Wilson, Newton, Ryan, Prescott, or Rodgers. The Eagles aren't holding them to 20.

yeah its not even a criticism of the defense...they have largely been good this year....its more a product of facing good teams and the state of the nfl

Even with Wentz I was hesitant about going up against the likes of New Orleans or Seattle again.

But, if its going to happen for Philly, it's going to be the hard way, not the easy way.
