I think you might have overlooked the sarcasm of my post as I was pointing out the irony of the conversation Rome posted about.

Don't get me wrong...I'd like to see animals treated with a bit more dignity, but that wasn't the intent of my post at all.

Mark Ingram is not very good.  Jason Kelce is not very good.

I think Ingram is better than Kelce. Way better, and younger. He's also better than what he showed on the Saints, who don't exactly spend a lot of time running the ball.

This trade would be so good for the Eagles that there's no way it would happen.

Ingram is a competent back. Not great, not flashy, but not bad either. Would probably pair well with Sproles. 

That said, I think I'd rather have an average center over an average RB.

The question kinda hinges on whether you think the Eagles already have more than one average center.

If the Eagles have a better option than Kelce at center, then by all means. But I think I'd rather have Kelce I leven in a backup role over Ingram as a starter.

And I'm not trying to knock Ingram. I think he's a decent player. But I think they could probably find RB depth elsewhere without giving up OL depth.
