Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

Thankfully Indianapolis had Adam Vinatieri.  Otherwise the Eagles would be stuck with Henery.

The NFC is completely up for grabs right now.  The Eagles have been far from flawless but easily could've (should've?) won @the team with the best record in the conference.

I don't think this is a great team but if they can grab a bye, who knows?  I'm concerned about Demeco's injury.  I think he's been a stabilizing force in the defense this year.

Our schedule's rough but so are Arizona's and Detroit's, so who knows

I wish the trade deadline would be pushed back...not that it would help now, but they need to make it mid-Nov at least.

I mentioned dealing for Arthur Brown awhile back and wish they would have done it.

I think there's been talk of pushing back the deadline a the league level, don't know how serious it is.

I'd honestly rather them get the #5 seed and play whatever terrible division winner from the South there is. Then again, as zesty as New Orleans has looked this year, there's probably no way they'd go in there and win.

Ugh, yeah. Demeco going down is going to be huge.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Eagles_Legendz

I don't understand that logic.  Why would you rather go into the Dome rd1 compared to having a bye and getting them or someone in Philly in round 2?

Mostly because the South has looked terrible this year and I don't think that division winner will make it out of round 1. I also think if they get the bye it'll probably be the #2, which means they'd get either the #3 seed (probably Green Bay) or the #5 seed (probably Seattle or Dallas if they survive this stretch without Romo)...I don't think they beat Green Bay or Seattle, even as bad as Seattle has looked lately.

...but that logic just gets you to round2 and into Green Bay probably or something on the road...the same game you'd have at home if you get a bye, and you have the bonus of not having to go into New Orleans and win.

I'll take the bye if it's there.  Plus you very well could get the saints or someone rd2 because they are still very hard to beat at home.   This probably is a mostly irrelevant conversation but I'll take the bye if it's offered.
