Philly has always been a city of police brutality, going back to Rizzo and probably before. But to allow - even encourage that in their own stadium, what a bunch of aaaaasssshooooooooles. shtein like that which gets me disgusted with the NFL and sports in general.

with new englands 5th now gone for sproles the eagles only have 6 picks which kinda sucks for a draft as good as this years....i cant recall the last time they had this few picks in a draft (@ easy - i am aware that rounds 4-5-7 are estimates because of yet to be determined comp picks)

Unless they're blown away with an offer (like the year they traded their first to Carolina which was used on Jeff Otah and netted the Eagles Desean and Peters) I'm fine with standing pat. Nothing drove me insane more than when they would constantly trade back and get a bunch of late picks. The late picks never amounted to anything and there were always good players still on the board.

If they can do something to move a little and get something significant in a deep draft, I'm okay depending on who's on the board at the time-- but you're right. Other teams can suck on their 6-7 rounders. I'd rather have a limited number of surer things than a bunch of question marks that get cut.

Maybe someone like Bryce Brown, Brandon Graham and/or Vinny Curry.

rightfully hate on him all you want but dook has to been to multiple conference championship games so he brings some nice experience behind foles

Exactly. He's the perfect guy to have as a top flight backup, has tons of experience including lots of playoff success despite his youth, and there will be absolutely no QB controversy with him sitting behind Foles. There are two kinds of good backup QBs: the future starter and the capable seasoned veteran. He's one of those two.

He's also going to be a valuable mentor for Barkley if they decide to keep him around (which I think they will at least until his rookie contract is up).
