Congrats to Merrill. It seemed there was confusion over whether getting this award necessarily meant he will officially be enshrined in the HOF, but apparently yes.

Deserving honor.

Good PBP voices are hard to come by these days with the new generation being fairly bland.

He's lost some zip on his fastball but he's an all timer.

Legit thought he was in the HOF already.  Like he was inducted in the 90s or something.  I agree with Middleton's caddie here too.  Then again, no matter how brutal he is, he'll never be as bad as T-Mac.  I just watch the Phils games on mute now.  Or listen to music.  Much or enjoyable.
