I don't think I have ever been so uninterested in a draft.

That makes two of us.  I am just sick and tired of trying to figure out Banner Inc.  I'll definitely be turning it off during the third round.

Oh of course, this whole CBA fiasco has put a damper on things.  Now the whole bullshtein about the invited rookies being pressured not to show up just makes it worse.

I could care less whether the rookies show or don't show.  Watching them walk across the stage and hold a jersey for a camera doesn't do it for me.  I would rather hear more Kiper/McShay analysis on each player and the fit on the team.

that is a weak move on the part of the nflpa IMO what whatever.

the nflpa better be careful not to distance itself too much from the fans..i think the majority of fans is siding with the players and this move can be looked at as a smack in the face to the die-hard fans who follow the draft closer than most - coming from the players side. some fans can argue that petty shtein like this and things like petersons comments yesterday indicate that missing games in 11' doesnt matter to them as much as it does to us. the diehards will always be back, will always go to games, will always buy the merch, but what about the casual fan? theyre gonna end up causing more damage than good in the long run with this (even if the fans all return at a later point)

yeah moves like this along with players acting like they are kunta kinte is not going to earn you points with the fans.

im actually all for pissing off the nerd fanbase....any fan that actually cares that there are player photo ops at the draft should be shot...i cant believe this is an issue at all but i guess i underestimated these people

Showing the players and their families waiting for the call at the draft was probably my least favorite part of the 1st round. It is infinitely better when they have the shots of players with about 50 family members in their living rooms a la DeSean Jackson and Brandon Graham.

I agree, its bad enough they moved it to Thursday.  I also have a problem that the NFLPA wants these kids to boycott it.  Its a once in a lifetime opportunity for them and their families, let them enjoy their fn day.

Tyrod Taylor is reportedly coming in for a workout

And a guy who I love - OkState RB Kendall Hunter - is also coming in for a workout. I hope they draft him.
