Dan Snyder is a Mitt Romney donor

Last week, The Post reported that Mitt Romney is leading all Presidential candidates among billionaire donors, having received contributions from 42 members of the 10-figure set. One of them, it turns out, is taterskins owner Dan Snyder.

Romney has attracted the support of taterskins owner Dan Snyder and other billionaires, including California real estate developer Donald Bren, who is worth $12 billion, and developer and publisher Sam Zell, who is worth $5 billion. A spokesman for Snyder declined to comment and those for Bren and Zell did not return requests for comment.

A quick database search shows that both Snyder and his wife Tanya gave the maximum $2,500 to the Romney campaign back in June. Those are their only contributions to a Presidential candidate so far this election cycle.

Ted Leonsis, meantime, gave $2,500 to the Obama re-election effort in the same month.

All teams have curfews and stay in hotels, even in home cities, the night before games.
