not exactly because the eagles obviously would have played the starters today but on paper they are that giant miracle comeback away from missing the playoffs

Feel bad for the people that went to the game to see that ending.

Good job Cowboys.  Nice work defeating the birds Freshmen squad.

It's a good thing Jermichael Finley is IR'd because tight ends eat the Eagles defense alive.

Been that way for a couple years now. You'd think they'd find some way to stop it.

That would require linebackers who can play, and that's not a part of the Eagles scheme.

The giants WERE that miracle away from missing the playoffs.

Well not if you go back to 1990 or 1980.  Hey, wait, we're a decade overdue!

tough to say....minny game was somewhat of a letdown because of what happened @ ny. if they needed these last 2 to get id think that they would have gotten them.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

they would have won today if it mattered but they did need to win the minnesota game and didnt...so i have no idea what you are talking about when you say they would have won the last two if they needed them

im saying if they lose @ ny then their mentality and minset coming into the minny game is different

in fact they might have even played it sunday

disagree...the bye would have been humongous...knowing that chicago had a very losable game today made the minnesota game huge

if they lose last week without the ny comeback im not sure andy would be breathing....but then again maybe ny wins @ gb and they still get in with a win today

I think the team was over confident after the giants game, that more than anything is why they lost.

The bar I went to had so many Cowboys and Eagles fans that the manager had the game on the biggest screen in the place.  Pretty weird considering the playoff implications of the other games, but I actually enjoyed watching the defensive backups make some plays.

Holy shtein the offense made me want to punch babies, though.

So how many of the Cowboys fans were talking shtein.  I have read crap all over my facebook and internet...a lot of them are actually bragging about this win.  You can't have a rational conversation with them.  They literally have the worst fans in the world.  I tried to explain to them that the game meant absolutely nothing and I was told I am only making excuses.  The only thing the Cowboys did was cost themselves draft slots.

The Cowboys fans were cheering but not talking trash.  There was one guy in a Phillies hat with a "Dallas Sucks" t-shirt underneath his Eagles jersey, who removed his jersey and loudly stomped around the bar any time the Eagles did anything good (no, it wasn't me).  So, it's safe to say the Eagles fans were more obnoxious than the Cowboys fans in aggregate.
