I didn't see so I really can't say one way or the other.  Is Lebron going to get some phantom calls?  Yes.  He's the biggest star in the NBA.  No one on the Sixers deserves superstar treatment.  I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but that's how the NBA has been for as long as I can remember so I just write it off as part of the game.

i actually dont mind certain players getting the benefit of the doubt on calls...soft ass iguodala is not going to get the same treatment from the refs as lebron who would rape your mother to get to the rim

but superstar calls are superstars getting a call on a similar play where another player doesnt

superstar calls are not where a superstar gets a phantom call and the other player gets banged and theres no call

iguodala might get more calls if he wasnt such a Hoyda and actually went to the rack more than 2 times a game.

its become habitual for refs in the nba to blow the whistle for guys that like going to the rim on a continuous basis....especially guys like lebron who go to the rim and the defensive player just sticks his hand out to try and swipe the ball. thats a foul call every time....and certainly dont expect the call to go the other way late in games.

phattymatty

that was one of the saddest games ive ever seen.

Glad the plane I was on did not have DirecTV or else I would have jumped.

Catching some of the highlights, I see where the complaints are coming from.  I saw one where BronBron pulled up at the free throw line and hit a shot.  Didn't notice who the defender was, but he didn't appear to leave the ground and put his arms up in the air.  Didn't even appear to be contact and the refs still blew the whistle.  That type of ish does bother me.  Guys like LBJ and Wade are hard enough to guard one on one as it is.  Really don't need the refs giving them those types of fouls.  I just assumed PG was going on with her over the top ways.  Maybe not in this case.  Oops.

It's not even worth getting upset over.  They're overmatched and won't get any calls since the NBA wants Miami/Boston in the next round.  Be happy if they win one...

This annoys me.  Why is LA down 0-1 to the freaking Hornets?  Obviously the league wants marquee matchups because they are best for tv ratings and advertising, but the refs aren't going to officiate games to make sure it plays out that way.  There is no conspiracy.  Especially in this series where there's really no need for it.

theres absolutely no conspiracy and i knew if i even brought up the refs mega homers like pg and easy would bring a conspiracy up

consider this a lesson learned

ha..conspiracy theory again.

you people must of missed the whole regular season when wade, lebron or any other superstar gets these calls every game all year. playoffs are no different. sure there are very questionable calls and last game was a little indicative of that, but do you think iverson went to the line 18 times a game because he was fouled hard every single time? it goes both ways. expect it.

if there were a conspiracy they would let the sixers win a couple so they could hide the fact that there is a conspiracy

The Hornets won because Paul is a superstar, the Lakers are breaking down and each team had the same number of FTs.

I expected a sweep before the series started because Miami has way more talent and playoff experience, and whatever the refs do won't affect my opinion, but there's no way you could've watched Saturday's game and said it was called fairly.  That 2nd quarter was garbage.  Give both teams a chance and let the players decide it, that's all.

i didnt hear you crying when non-steve javie refs were bailing AI out 10 times a game
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
