I'm captain of the trade Iggy train but I think it's in their best interest to keep him. I used to say move him for cap space, but with the way this seasons going they might as well keep him around and make the playoffs. At least he dazzles with some dunks and is a great defender. Move him in the offseason and go from there.

or they just honestly don't feel like talking to anyone about it.

this

thorn and collins both really like him

of course they will listen to offers for any player on the roster but they were never actively trying to move him
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

PoopyfaceMcGee

He actually fits on this team quite well. Is he overpaid? Yes, but that only makes him less valuable in a trade anyway. He can shut down a SG or SF like Pierce or Carmelo, which is exactly what the Sixers will need if they have any hope of winning a first round playoff series.

i dont even know that hes that overpaid

he also only has three years left on his deal (one being a player option)...if there ever comes a time when they really wanna move him they will be able to do it with no problem over the next year or two....theres absolutely no reason to trade him right now

Iggy isnt going anywhere. Hes not the  answer to pushing a team over the top. Hes a nice toss in though, but with his contract the toss in factor becomes an issue.

I think this team exceeded everyones expectations since their horrific start. This team can make a playoff series or 2 interesting and that's certainly satisfactory for Collins and Snyder compared to last year.

Although Popovich is in the lead for coach of the year, Collins is easily right behind him as of now.

Could this be any more wrong.    He's exactly the type of player to push a team over the top.  He's a lockdown defender and the ultimate third option.  With That said, I want the sixers to keep him.

reese125

He gets even more close to triple doubles because he plays for the Sixers. Make him a legit 3rd guy on a serious team you get about 12/6/5 out of him....and Im being very generous since he avgs 14/5/5 now. Thats not exactly holy shtein we have to get andre iguodala right now numbers.

Oh, and lockdown? Really? Best lockdown perimeter defender on the Sixers is Jrue nowadays.

ice grillin you

you mean a point guard is a better perimeter defender than a forward?

i bet iguodala is a better interior defender than jeru.....bet!

you say this like its a given that a pg is always a better perimeter defender than a forward? you sure about that?

never said iguodala was a bad defender, I just dont think hes lockdown as he was before. Hes fine on the inside, always has a hand in someones face when they pull up, but Ive seen many a players get past him this year.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I still hate him, but to deny he's a great defender is ridiculous.

SunMo

he's good, not great.

great scorers eat him for lunch

reese125

again...never said he wasnt a good defender...just i dont think he this great "lockdown" defender as was years past.

and even a list like that with the likes of friggin gerald wallace, ginobli, jump shooters martin, granger, and joe johnson and an occasional off night by a legit superstar is going to make me think differently.
