Seriously though, I know its old hat. But with the offensive talent how does Holmgren or Clarke not get fired with this B.S.? I know Thomas was insane, but the goals Boosh gives up are routine shots, not amazing goals!

Exactly.  Look at the last two goalies they've faced. Sickening.  It's mind boggling that this FO has not addressed the goalie situation.

boston is just a better team....they were last year despite a once in a lifetime miracle and its the same this year except they wont choke

flyers actually played great pretty much the second half of the game...as good as they can and they still got beat...say what you want about carter but they miss him especially in a game like last night where they couldnt beat thomas...even if you think carter sucks hes still a 30-40 goal guy being replaced in the lineup last night by jody farging shelly...no matter how you look at it thats a massive gap...and no team should be running out carcillo and shelly in the same playoff lineup

anyway that game was farging awesome until the ot goal....it was insanely electric in the building it was physical as shtein and there were tons of scoring chances...it was the sport at its best

richards played outstanding last night he was all over the place...unless you are referring to him not finishing...but you could say that about everyone except reemer...and even he missed some critical chances that would have won the game in the second and third period

he was running at people, i saw that.  but i don't think he's playing overly well defensively and his offense has been putrid

I thought Richards was the worst player on the ice with the puck on his stick last night. And it wasn't even close.

maybe because the puck didnt go in...but he had to have had double figure shots on goal...hes was all over the net....like i said he just couldnt finish

He lost the handle on the puck, looked slow as shtein, couldn't finish, didn't settle the offense... not captain material right there.

I also thought Richards looked like shtein. His play doesn't need to be at an elite level but as the captain of the team he should be the hardest worker out there and should lead by example. He's taken big steps back in the leadership category and lets be honest Pronger is the true Captain of this team.

I made it to 2-2 and then fell asleep.  Glad I missed the end.  I can't stand watching them play their hearts out only to lose because of the wack ass goalie.

they have done that for just about every playoff game for the last ten years and the tradition goes back to the 70's

only real difference last night was the color guard.....but they even occasionally do that
