McGlynn will be fine now that he has a half way decent RG in Wells. Cole was maybe the worst Guard I've ever seen in pass protection. He's an okay run blocker which would be fine if they ran the ball more.

the one sack by Knighton, you could see Mcglynn went over to help Cole, Cole seemed to have him, Mcglynn peeled off looking for someone coming up the middle,a nd Cole got steamrolled.  Shortly after that he was pulled.

Max Jean-Gilles has taken reps at first-team RG as Nick Cole is missing practice time with a knee injury. Cole is questionable for Sunday.

Why?

Sgt PSN

Pretty sure it's because of the knee injury.

Seabiscuit36

you're really going out on a limb there

The opinions on Wells' performance are varied, but maybe they think he's more of a finesse guy and that won't fly inside against the 3-4?  Who knows.

Wells backing up at LG after MJG moved ahead at the depth chart for RG

QuoteCole "questionable" for Sunday; Jean-Gilles may start

Guard Nick Cole missed his third consecutive day of practice and it will be a "game-time decision" on whether or not he plays, head coach Andy Reid said Friday. In a mild surprise, Max Jean-Gilles would get the start if Cole is not ready, Reid said.

Cole is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Recently acquired Reggie Wells filled in for Cole during Sunday's game against the Jaguars, but got tepid reviews and said Friday he has worked this week at left guard, where he would back up Todd Herremans. It was thought that Wells might compete for a starting right guard spot, but he has apparently fallen behind Jean-Gilles there.

"Reggie's been a left guard for the last six years. So to learn the offense and then put him on the right side, I'm not sure that's fair to him," Reid said. "Max has played both sides. Max came off a heck of a training camp – most of that was on the left side – so I put him over there where he's played for us before and has a little better feel for the offense right now."

Wells was a starter for the Arizona Cardinals, but was moved out of his customary left guard spot when the team signed Alan Faneca. He then lost a training camp competition on the right side and was dealt to the Eagles for a sixth round draft choice in 2011.

"It's something I have to be patient with," Wells said of his moving spots. He said he wants to be on the field, like any player, but that there is an adjustment to a new offense and moving from one side of the line to the other. "Offensive line is more than just knowing the plays. It's ... being comfortable with the guy next to you and knowing where that guy is going to be as well."

Back up linebacker Omar Gaither said he thinks he will dress for Sunday's game. He was inactive last week. Gaither said this week he has worked on the first team for several special teams units, and so expects to play.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Maybe they should switch places with the defensive line.
