Vick had a completion % of 52% in 2006.  His Wr's were Roddy White, Ashley Lelie, and Michael Jenkins and he had TE Crumpler and RB Warrick Dunn to throw to. Not too shabby.  Yet he completed only 52% of his passes and had a QB rating of 75.  

He is one of the top 5 most overrated players in NFL history.  Just my opinion.  It's always been the same with him: 4 bad plays, then 1 awful play, then 1 highlight reel play.  People always remember the highlight reel b/c ESPN will show it 6,432 times and neglect the rest of his game.

But Donovan made it to the  nfccg repeatedly with krap receivers and Vick also enjoyed having a top or the top running team in the league.

That was White's 2nd year.  He had 30 catches with Vick.  The following year Joey Harrington and Redman were QB's and White had 80 catches.  Maybe he was open?  Maybe Vick can't read a D and stares down TE's and looks to run too much and throws too many picks?  

The point is that Vick is inaccurate as a passer.  Very much so.  If you think he will complete passes at a 66% clip with the Birds...you're nuts.

66%???...that would put him with the league leaders...plus he can makie up for his poor % by running the ball...similar to what donovan did early in his career

btwn mcnabb is under 60% for his career....which is why 66% for vick is just ridiculous

if vick can throw for 57% and mix in 800 yards rushing that would be fantastic

this is all crazy to even debate as vick is bringing this team no where

That's my point...REESE was blaming Vick's poor completion % on the WR's he had in Atlanta.  If our WR's are so much better shouldn't he get a big bump?  He won't.  He will throw at a 55% clip or less.  Count on it.  Ever look at Vick's game by game passing stats?  He threw over 300 yards like 2 times (one was against Detroit) and threw under 150 yards in about 20 games.
