This is one thing that I actually believe Reid on for once.  He said Vick is just playing too well.  Not to mention I don't think the Eagles with win with Kolb or McNabb last week.  There oline is brutal in pass protection.

I have to say Vick does look better as a passer than he ever has.  This makes for an interesting questions leading into the future.  Does Vick get a new contract and Kolb shipped?

I pretty much assume this is for the season.  Reid doesn't seem like a coach that will keep flipping QBs.  He also probably didn't want to lose the locker room.  Vick has played pretty damn good and at this point gives them the best opportunity to win.

BTW, this shouldn't be tied to McNabb at all.  They weren't re-signing McNabb to a 3+ year deal.  Period.  If they blew it with Kolb it's because they suck and Kolb sucks but shouldn't (though it inevitably will) be linked to Donnie Mac.

What could have changed so much in 24 hours?  Did Banner/Lurie/Roseman really exert that much pressure, or did Reid just realize the entire NFC blows?

Trading McNabb was supposed to be alllll about Kolb and him being the future. So now they have the quickest hook ever on benching a guy.

By naming Vick over Kolb, I believe they will win the East now.

Trading McNabb, a proven vet, for a guy who you give ONE HALF to is dumb.
