glad its at 4. they might actually air it here in nyc since the giants play at 1 and the jets are on sunday night.

great chance you get it

fox has the double header and only two games at four...eagles and the skins at rams

im assuming eagles would get priority in markets unrelated to either game

i wonder how they even decide that? eagles jags and skins rams are probably equal in terms of importantance to the giants market. probably based on what gets higher ratings which at this point is the eagles with the QB controversy (at least in the media's eyes).

Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

i dont think anyone knows how they decide

i think ny def gets the eagles because their tv market runs into nj and even tho its not south jersey its still a lot closer to philly than dc and i think they will want it on to have all the central and north jersey eagle fans tune in

also when all things are equal giant fans care more about the eagles than the skins

i have no idea how they decide which games to move to 4 (not 415), sometimes its pretty random.

the jaguars might have requested it because of some kind of promotion or something, fox may have some kind of plan to filter certain markets with what else they have at 100...this one really doesnt make any sense. they probably just selected two games at random and said ok you guys are moving to 4.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i thought 415 = national game and west coast games

and 405 = east coast games

no?

MDS

no not even close

415 = national game everyone gets except for the home markets of the 400 games

one network gets 100/415 i.e. the dh
the other gets 100/400 where you get one of the games....generally the 400 game is hosted by a west coast team but sometimes of course they move an east coast team back for whatever reason.

the nfls tv policies are incredibly outdated and havent changed in forever. but since they make so much cash and ratings are going up every year, they aint changing nothing.

wrong....there are 415 games that arent the national broadcast

as for what games get 415 and 405 it does appear to be random

lol ok im sorry the 415 block...you get a game from there, generally theres 1 overtly obvious game that 80-90% of the country get

but no there is a major difference between 415 and 405. for example a typical 405 game is rams/raiders and jaguars/broncos while something like pats/jets and eagles/packers gets pushed back to 415

its funny you bring this up because i was just saying to some people yesterday how awesome the eagle bar is in DC and one of the reasons is because its pretty much completely void of ff speak...people are there to actually watch a football game

theres nothing more annoying than fantasy football talk anywhere but especially during your teams game

ff speak is only acceptable

a. when you are talking to another person in your league
b. monday thru saturday

i wanna crow bar people in the face who say sunday after their team lost - "at least im gonna win my fantasy game"

PoopyfaceMcGee

I saw a guy at the bar yesterday on an iPad the whole time.  I seriously wanted to kick him in the face.

ice grillin you

actually i dont even think about my bet after the game...only before and then later in the week when i collect....its kind of like saying you hope they lose to get a better draft pick...its something you think before the game and then down the road you say im glad they lost that game

but on sunday and depending on the severity of the loss X amount of days to follow i dont think of anything but murder and or suicide
