One of the worst things about it is with these bad concussions they tend to occur again more easily the more one gets them (Eric Lindross says aheiieaee)

im pretty sure anyone who was at the game can say this, but i heard the collision all the way from where i was - and by no means was i close to the hit.

I know it's football, and I don't know if Pimp would be any less hurt if Dunta had went in with his eyes up, but you can't, or aren't supposed too, lead with the crown of your helmet.

if the pimp hit was a penalty for being defenseless...which is just a joke...does that mean there can not be anymore blindside hits in the mold of a sapp clifton....because it doesnt get more defenseless than that

and are safeties allowed to come across the field and destroy guys who are going up for a ball?

I think you could make some progress by getting guys to wrap up more...spearing a guy with a 30 yard head of steam is patently reckless and not terribly good football, though it does make for big hits...

which brings me to:  if you want guys to stop doing these things, featuring these plays in highlight packages all week long isn't helping matters.

i don't get it either...dude was going for the ball...other dude was trying to crush him. so if the defensive guy doesn't know you're there, you're supposed to just stop and wait for him to see you? maybe give him the heads up before you crush him.
