Maybe I'm the only one, but I don't see why he should be a lock to make the team. I've always liked Gilyard, and if I'm Andy, I take him over Riley and his flowing blonde locks.

I'd guess Dixon is gone ($2 mil salary with no cap hit) and maybe keep Atogwe even though Jarrett probably played his way into a spot by default. He's the only one that is more of SS but if you keep enough maybe someone else will pan out better since SS is the D's weak link. I also think Hanson sticks this year until Boykin learns the position. I hope Cooper is gone. I can also see Tapp gone ($2.6 million without a cap hit) unless they are thinking Patterson might be back after pup.

DH

I dont see how you can keep OJ. He wasn't healthy last year, and he has failed to stay healthy in the time he's been a Eagle. I dislike Jarrett as much as the next guy, but I can't justify dropping him to keep a guy who will be on IR by week4.

ice grillin you

agree on hanson...its too risky to go with a rookie as your third corner...boykin is clearly the future will be starting by the end of the year but for now you need hanson as a safety net

otagwe is gone because of the hammy

gilyard is awful...he was a fourth rounder that the rams (worst wr's ever) of all teams cut bait with in his rookie year and didnt even play last year....if cooper is gone and i dont think he is then mcnutt gets the nod
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

ice grillin you

also dh while it hasnt officially happened mcbriars agent has said that mcbriar is cut...unless you arent buying that and still think he gets the nod

no, I just don't like Henry. I was a huge fan of Gilyards in college - then again, I was also a supporter of Mike Gasperson.

Oh, and I meant to keep Hanson. Sorry BHughes, you've been cut.

Caplan is saying that Joselio is gone

Here's the list so far..

Hanson, Clayton, Gilyard, Hall, McNutt, Thomas, Washington, Vallos, Atogwe, Brackett, Rau, Moten, Trotter.

I liked Thomas, and was really hoping he'd make the squad.

S Oshiomogho Atogwe   Veteran safety could not shake off nagging hamstring injury.

DT Landon Cohen   Signed by the team yesterday for help against the Jets.
TE Chase Ford   Miami product still a promising prospect as an all-around tight end.
WR Mardy Gilyard   Opened eyes with his touchdown receptions during the preseason, caught up in tough position.
WR Chad Hall   Versatile weapon who has shown he belongs in the league. Still practice squad eligible.
CB Joselio Hanson   Veteran nickel cornerback released on cut day for second straight year.
FB Emil Igwenagu   Stanley Havili wins the fullback job, though Igwenagu impressed with versatility.
T D.J. Jones   Solid swing tackle stuck behind King Dunlap, Demetress Bell and Dennis Kelly.
WR Marvin McNutt   Rookie sixth-round pick flashed in Training Camp.
LB Adrian Moten   Failed to establish himself behind top six linebackers.
DT Ollie Ogbu   Acquired from Colts on the first day of Training Camp. Still practice squad eligible.
LB Ryan Rau   Former tryout player opened eyes with impressive play in final two preseason games.
DE Monte Taylor   Talented pass rusher stuck at the team's deepest position.
S Phillip Thomas   Undrafted rookie who impressed against the Browns. Not quite ready for prime time.
DT Frank Trotter   Workmanlike defensive tackle.
OL Steve Vallos   Worked way up to second-team center, appears to have ceded job to Dallas Reynolds.
OL Brandon Washington   Sixth-round pick still adjusting to Howard Mudd's techniques.
